What we store and why
We store your email address, language, consent choices, consent text version, timestamp and registration reference to provide the launch notification. You can subscribe to the launch notification and happiness emails about every two weeks, or choose the launch notification only. Your choice is recorded separately. Earlier behind-the-scenes mailing list consent covers only the content stated at that time, not offers. Earlier consents retain their original scope. Processing is based on your voluntary consent. Joining the launch list does not require subscribing to marketing emails.
Where your data is processed
The list is stored in this website’s protected database. Technical providers are OpenAI (Sites) and Cloudflare (D1). Data may be processed outside the EU/EEA. The standard OpenAI Sites processing terms provide for EU standard contractual clauses or a European Commission adequacy decision to safeguard transfers. We do not sell your details or publish the list. This page does not collect recipe answers.
Retention
Launch-only registrations remain active for six months. Happiness newsletter registrations are retained for up to 12 months from signup. Earlier marketing consent remains active for 12 months. Earlier behind-the-scenes list registrations have a 12-month retention period. Expired records are not used for communication and are deleted when the list is next used or reviewed for maintenance. Data is deleted sooner if you withdraw consent or it is no longer needed after the launch notification has been delivered.
Your rights
You may withdraw consent and request access, portability, correction, restriction or deletion by contacting the address below. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may complain to Finland’s Data Protection Ombudsman.
Tracking and security
This page has no advertising or analytics tracking and no marketing cookies. A temporary hashed network identifier is stored to prevent abuse and is not used for marketing. Technical connection data is processed to operate the site securely. Registration is confirmed in this form after saving. Email ownership is not verified through a separate email.
